I enjoy Scheveningen a lot.

As an athlete do you follow a special way of life?
I guess my way of living is always giving it a shot, if you don’t try, you’ll never know 😉

What inspires you?
People who dare to follow your dreams. My biggest passion in life is being outside, active, trying new things that scare me.

If you could pick two people (dead or alive who have especially inspired you for your sports) to go for a surf with, who would they be?
Stephanie Gilmore and Jamie Anderson. I love both surfing and snowboarding as much as I love kiteboarding and both of them are legends in their sports. They’re super passionate, but also competitive even though they’ve won almost all there is to win. Some athletes seem to care only about the result, but they seem to really live for their sports.

Where would you like to live in the near future or what do you think is the best place to live on earth?
I am not sure yet, but since I’m back in Holland I’m really enjoying living in the Hague.

What are your goals?
My main goal is to qualify for the Olympics during the World Championships at my homespot in 2023.
