Jordy Smith joins the SWOX team
It’s like Jordy Smith and SWOX have always been meant for each other: we at SWOX have always been huge fans of Jordy’s surfing, and over time Jordy has also become a fan of our sunscreen products, made specifically for use in the water in harsh conditions like surfing.
The athlete from Durban, South Africa, has been surfing since he was three and has partnerships with Oakley, Red Bull and O’Neill. And now he’s adding SWOX to this list: as of 1st of June 2018, Jordy Smith is officially part of team SWOX! “I’ve been using SWOX products for two years now and am really impressed by their performance, especially for surfers. I’m really happy to be an official partner of SWOX.”
30-year-old Jordy now lives in California. He took second place behind Kelly Slater in the World Surf League in 2010 and behind John John Florence in 2016. He’s a hot candidate for the world title in 2018, as he made clear with his third place at the Corona Bali Protected. SWOX is thrilled to have a world elite surfer on the team.
