Do you have a preferred pace or style?
I don’t have a favorite style. I like the variety of choices you have every day. Every day my body feels different, and therefore I can choose what feels right for me that day.
Who or what inspires you? What is your passion in life?
This may sound cheesy, but just life. I want to experience life with all its facets, and the mountains allow me to do so. I can push my limits but also spend quiet days; I can find challenges and comfort, community and solitude in the mountains—in nature generally—and this feeling of being alive, adventurous, and explorative inspires me every day.
Do you follow a special way of life? If yes, what is it?
I don’t think this is anything super special, but I choose to do things that scare me or things that I believe I cannot do, to continuously broaden my horizon and challenge my comfort zone.
If you could pick two athletes (dead or alive) to hike, bike, or run with, who would they be and where would you go?
Honestly… probably some of my friends. I love doing sports with my friends who are very ambitious or professional athletes because they push me to become better while just having a great time, and I would choose that over anything every time again.
If you could pick two athletes (dead or alive) to go surf / train with, who would they be and where would you go?
Definitely Michael Jordan, I’d love to shoot some hoops with him, then maybe a top soccer player, Ranaldo. I used to play soccer when I was younger and still love the sport. My name is Jordan Michael and I grew up on 23 Pain Road which is Jordans number and now mine.
What are your goals for 2025?
I want to spend as much time outside in the mountains and exploring as possible. Besides that, I want to venture a little more into new sports like climbing, road cycling, and triathlon.

One last thing: What’s your take on SWOX? Can you share a quote about it?
In the oceans or the mountains, SWOX is reliable. I love that the ingredients are clean, and I can protect my skin from the sun with a good feeling about it because there are no harsh chemicals that I would choose to put on my skin.
