Swox develops Open Source software solutions. We specialize in GNU compiler toolchain, high-performance mathematical software, computer security software, and high-performance search and indexing software, as well as other performance critical solutions.

Since its inception in 1995, Swox has undertaken several sizeable development contracts for customers around the world.

Swox AB has expertise with the GNU compilers and the GNU symbolic debugger. We develop ports to new architectures and tune existing ports, using our long experience of the GNU compiler tools. We count IBM and WRS among our compiler customers.

Staff working for Swox AB has written the GNU Multiple Precision Arithmetic Library (GMP), the most widely used library of its kind, and probably the most versatile and powerful library for high precision arithmetic. More information is available from the GNU MP home page.

Swox's offices are located in the center of beautiful archipelago city Stockholm. From these offices, we handle contract work for customers all over the world, by making intensive use of the resources of the Internet.
